About the Role 

WildBrain is looking for an Account Executive, which is a direct sales role responsible for exceeding quarterly and annual advertising revenue targets.  This role will be working directly with our leading chidren’s network on YouTube. In this role you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships to create and close ad revenue with both agency partners and clients directly in the kids and family content space. The successful candidate will be a passionate, digitally savvy, consultative resource who understands how to package and sell across the total video sales ecosystem including programmatic, direct and custom content. The successful candidate will also craft bespoke in-game integrations within our network of partner games on Roblox.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships with brand and agencies looking to reach kids and family
  • Educate and evangelize the WildBrain audience platform and premium destination to reach the target audience
  • Be a digital media entrepreneur in a growing part of the company and be an active member devising new products and solutions for our partners
  • Generate new business and open new client base to achieve our financial target

 Qualifications

  • 5 years+ of digital media sales experience
  • Strong understanding of the streaming media landscape including AVOD, OTT, OLV and custom content, with knowledge of ad tech and programmatic solutions
  • Key client and agency relationships in Retail, CPG, QSR, F&B and other categories outside of our core business (toycos and entertainment)
  • Excited about growing and emerging technologies and opportunities such as Gaming (Roblox, Fortnite), FAST channels, social media and branded content.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to sell through ideas to clients.
  • Excited by a fast-paced environment.
  • Solutions oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Must possess strong leadership and time management skills.
  • Kids and family content sales a plus.
