About the Role

Reporting to the VP Rev Share and Transactional, Distribution, the Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the VP Rev Share and Transactional and various teams connecting to the Rev share business.

 

Responsibilities  

  • Administrative support to VP Rev share and Transactional including data input relating to rights, channel submissions, analytics downloads
  • Assist in creating invoices to billback origination costs to partner FAST platforms, allowing us to launch more FAST channels at a lower costs
  • Compile origination cost data per platform, creating a database that can track trends in spending vs revenue trends at a granular level
  • Help A/V deliveries by filling out the Avails list that go out to clients pertaining to monthly deliveries
  • Assist the Trade Marketing team (and other teams) in:
  • Compiling all new AVOD launches per platform to keep track of premiere dates and deadlines for receiving final assets
  • Tracking specs and delivery details for promotional and channel branding assets
  • Compiling applicable assets from new partners (series overview, artwork, etc.) to allow for production of materials
  • Monitor and analyse the AVOD and FAST user experience, WildBrain channels and competition
  • Take a lead role in improving visibility and performance of WildBrain FAST channel
  • Manage the entry of and upkeep and constant improvement of series metadata
  • Assist VP Rev Share by preparing and circulating Broadcast Sales Updates for key brands and titles
  • Collaboration across multiple teams, staying up to date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environment and update all respective documents and teams as needed.

 

Qualifications 

  • Experience in handling, integrating, and analyzing data sets with ability to distinguish between reliable and unreliable data
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of media rights, FAST and AVOD business terms
  • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and can work well independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Passion for animation and kids' television, with a desire to develop a career within the industry
