About the job/role 

WildBrain Spark is looking for a Rights Manager. Reporting to the Director of Content Operations you will be part of the Content Operations team. This role will involve the management of WildBrain content on the YouTube platform. The successful candidate will be able to carry our YouTube channel-managed tasks to a high standard, with the ability to spot content publication issues and troubleshoot accordingly. You will quality-check channels and the content associated with them and will need to housekeep and maintain channels on the YouTube platform.




  • Manage WildBrains YouTube rights across >600 channels and multiple CMSs
  • Support day-to-day workflow-related queries for the Rights Management department
  • Ensure best practices are applied to content management and monetisation
  • Audit and maintain WildBrains YouTube catalogue quality
  • Onboard and offboard new channels/brands from YouTube
  • Work cross-functionally with a multitude of teams on the delivery of business priorities
  • Work closely alongside our data & technology team to develop and leverage our bespoke range of tools (e.g., uploading & reporting)
  • Run or support projects within the Right Management team
  • Challenge the status quo. Find and fix churn or friction within the WildBrain digital supply-chain
  • Champion your own personal development




  • Understanding of the YouTube platform including channel management, asset, reference and claim management, monetisation, and managing multiple content owners
  • Experience with the YouTube environment; including reference ingestion workflows, complex ownership/rights setups, and transfers
  • Experience in content, media asset, and production workflows
  • Understanding of media rights and how to manage them
