About the job/role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Financial Partnerships Manager will primarily focus on managing the relationship with and information that flows from/to licensors and licensees from a financial perspective. This will involve liaising with the CPLG Partnerships team and other CPLG commercial staff on a regular basis. The Financial Partnerships Manager will deliver an excellent level of business support to both external and internal stakeholders to meet contractual reporting requirements and facilitate commercial decision making.



  • Act as the key CPLG Finance representative in liaison with both licensors and key licensees.
  • Manage the Royalties and Participations UK team
  • Preparation, review and distribution of licensor participation reports
  • Ensure that licensee royalty forecasts are obtained, consolidated, reviewed, analysed and distributed according to licensors revenue recognition policies.
  • Liaise regularly with key licensors to ensure that their queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the onboarding of new licensors, maintaining the associated onboarding documentation.
  • Manage quarterly licensee royalty statement collections across the WB CPLG group and ensuring that status tracking is accurate. This will involve working directly with the CPLG regional finance teams and involving CPLG commercial teams when necessary.
  • Provide a proactive and comprehensive level of support to the CPLG Partnerships team, answering queries and providing financial data, including ensuring that effective monitoring is in place vs licensor contractual targets


Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience working within a related finance role
  • Royalties experience strongly preferred
  • Experience of managing a team essential
  • Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables)
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels
  • Strong organisational and prioritising skills 
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail
