About the Job/Role

The Content Partnerships team is responsible for developing and driving the strategic direction of both internal and external content partnerships at WildBrain Spark.  As Content Strategist, you will identify and develop content strategies to drive brand objectives leveraging the capabilities of the WildBrain Spark teams and across the WildBrain Group.  This role will work particularly closely with our production and distribution teams, but ultimately ensure that the wholistic digital strategy drives the agreed objectives.



  • Help to identify and agree the content and/or brand objectives (O&O or 3rd Party) and set brand KPIs in conjunction with other internal stakeholders (content partnerships, production, distribution, paid media) or external partners,
  • Define content requirements and strategy for key brands within the network – applying insight in audience data and trends to deliver optimized content proposals,
  • Work closely with production through the development process to ensure brands remain aligned with objectives and audience expectation,
  • Support internal IP incubation and development,
  • Drive the ongoing and iterative live development of priority brands through ongoing feedback and performance analysis,
  • Ensure content and campaign guidelines are agreed and articulated (content bible),
  • Oversee the production of post-campaign reports identifying elements of a brand which have been successful (or not),
  • During live productions, support the application of iterative distribution insights to deliver continuous optimization,
  • Monitor and report on ongoing content and performance trends across YouTube.


  • A deep understanding of content performance on digital platforms (particularly YouTube) and what makes brands successful,
  • Experience in production and/or distribution of digital-first content and it’s application within a marketing context,
  • Deep experience in the use of analytics and digital engagement metrics, and their meaning in a creative world,
  • Commercially focused and strong stakeholder management experience.
