About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Programming & Acq., the Multiplatform Coordinator will assist in strategic placement and scheduling of content and supporting partner initiatives across all non-linear platforms (i.e., SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, etc.). Key responsibilities include day-to-day management of the multi-platform content schedules, communicating plans, and serving as a liaison to all internal departments . This position also assists in long-term program planning and in-depth audience research projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build daily multi-platform schedules into in-house systems (Broadview, Wurl, etc.), placing all relevant continuity and selecting non-automated secondary events
  • Manage the entry and upkeep of all schedules and series metadata
  • Screening programs for quality control and compliance purposes, working in conjunction with the TV and Distribution Ops team to ensure all content is suitable and ready to schedule (i.e. – no glitches or technical issues)
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving; working with all teams to investigate and resolve format discrepancies, missing promos/tags for scheduling needs
  • Collaboration across multiple teams, staying up to date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environment, track schedule changes, creative revisions, etc., and update all respective documents and teams as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in related field or administrative support
  • Passion for content and general knowledge of television and multi-platform business
  • Knowledge of multi-platform systems (SVOD, AVOD, VOD, FVOD, EST)
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, as this role is responsible for screening content for quality control and compliance before it is uploaded to our platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work under time-pressured deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve, finding solutions to issues with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong collaborator, with the ability to work within a team and independently
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
