About the Role

Our Peanuts group is looking for a VP, Creative! Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the licensing and marketing creative. This includes collaborating across business divisions and with external partners. To be successful, the VP, Creative should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders while having fun.



  • Gain expert knowledge in brand assets and guidelines and apply these insights when designing and directing creative to ensure brand authenticity
  • Advise, direct and mentor the creative team
  • Ensure creative is best-in-class and on-trend
  • Oversee and direct the creation of style guides, branding and logos
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative that meets internal and external business needs and supports brand initiatives
  • Work with sales and territory leads to develop creative that supports their business goals
  • Liaise with the content teams to align on creative needs
  • Align and coordinate with external stakeholders on all creative produced by Peanuts Worldwide
  • Review and provide comments or direction to product or marketing creative from licensees
  • Review and provide comments or direction to creative from territory agents
  • Oversee the creative vision for tradeshows, conventions and pop-up shops. Including booth design, floor plans, presentation materials, exclusive products and premiums
  • Provide creative overview and guidelines to new partners
  • Suggest modifications to improve designs and product when appropriate
  • Work with the sales team and territory leads to identify trends and how Peanuts can adapt to these trends
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure design direction is being adhered to when necessary
  • Provide creative direction and support to freelancers, consultants and agencies



  • Experience in character brand marketing with licensing and/or product development focus
  • Experience in designing and managing an art team
  • Empathetic leadership style with proven success leading and managing high-performing, passionate and engaged teams
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
  • Passion for Peanuts Worldwide brand, kids’ and family entertainment; familiarity and understanding of the mindset of target audience
  • College degree, preferably in art, design or related field
  • Understanding of global markets and trends
  • Motivated self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative, creativity, excellent work ethic and attention to detail
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment that necessitates working on many projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior level executives and decision makers across the company
  • Must be proficient in MS Suite & Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are all required)
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills
