About the Role 

Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Manager, Television will lead WildBrain Television Marketing to develop, publish and execute Marketing Plans supporting new programming, seasonal, and brand initiatives.



  • Lead development of annual marketing plans and budget to ensure marketing and promotion strategies align with company and department objectives
  • Work with VP, Marketing & Communications to execute the corporate strategic plan as it relates to the Television unit
  • Lead the development and execution of all consumer and B2B promotions to support plans including: off-channel campaigns, digital media organic content and advertising, print and video collateral materials, owned platform materials and messaging, affiliate events and partnerships
  • Oversee compelling content creation and content calendar for WildBrain Television social media channels including monitoring comments
  • Track and analyze trending in multi-platform KPI data and consumer habits to uncover marketing opportunities, and inform strategic planning and growth opportunities
  • Review and approve spending recommendations and creative briefs and oversee creative approvals for internal (owned) and off-channel platforms
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external partners including broadcasters, BDUs, production companies and agencies
  • Work closely across affiliate marketing initiatives, sponsorship opportunities and promotions
  • Develop clear and comprehensive brand and project decks to communicate with stakeholders
  • Maintain annual budget and oversee tracking of all financial transactions for the channels
  • Support Publicity Manager on press releases, press outreach, talent relations, media training and talent appearances



  • 5+ years progressive experience in a consumer and/or B2B marketing role
  • University or College degree, ideally with a focus on Business or Marketing
  • Passion for television and kids entertainment with familiarity and understanding of the mindset of target audiences
  • Knowledge of the media landscape in Canada
  • Strong knowledge of social media and YouTube platforms with experience in leveraging creative assets and copy to support brand strategies
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and video edit software
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel and Word required
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics including Search Engine Marketing
  • Ability to mine data for relevant insights to benefit the brand and product marketing plans
