About the job/role 

WilBrain Spark are on the hunt for an experienced Ad Operations Manager to join our ad operations team. The ad operations team are a crucial part of our delivery and we are looking for an ambitious self-starter who will be ready to take the lead over the team.  Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, this multi-dimensional role will see you developing the ad operations manager, owning the roadmap of delivery and using your expertise to troubleshoot advanced questions. There will also be some hands- on work so you will be prepared to get stuck in at all levels. This role will report into the director paid media so it’s crucial you feel comfortable in taking a leadership role or you will be a similar role already.              



  • Act as owner of the ad operations pod within the paid media team 
  • Implement and manage ad campaigns across our digital platforms 
  • Analyze performance data to develop and implement campaign optimization strategies 
  • Prepare and send ad specifications based on the campaign and provide clients with reporting  
  • Forecast ad supply and launch digital video ad campaigns on YouTube and various other platforms 
  • Complete complex brands and agency media templates with operational details 
  • Develop and manage the Ad Operations Manager to make ensure consistent performance and best practice across all workflows and reporting. 
  • Implement, document and train team on best practice across all workflows and reporting
  • New business research and pitch document generation 
  • Developing cross-channel integration as part of the Planning process. Ensure clients and the wider WildBrain Spark team understand the full value of ad sales and a merged media delivery 
  • Keep a record of key successes and build case studies to demonstrate the worth of ad sales and build an award-winning service. 
  • Consistent quality control and reporting
  • Support and co-lead on innovation roadmap developing data tools
  • Provide advanced internal reporting with a high level of accuracy
  • Manage financial reporting across GAM & Salesforce


Qualifications & Skills 

  • Significant, demonstrable experience in digital ad ops role; experience in digital, ideally with previous experience of working with or at tier 1 agencies/clients. 
  • Familiarity working with YouTube Partner Sales Program 
  • Advanced experience with ad software – GAM, Google Ads, DV360 
  • Advanced knowledge of third party ad tech vendors such as DSP, SSP, DMP, Verification, Viewability, IVT, IAS, Double Verify, Nielsen, Comscore 
  • Strong excel skills 
  • Excellent relationship building skills: experience establishing relationships within the digital community and managing multiple senior stakeholders 
  • Demonstrate real commercial understanding through sound judgment & decision making. 
  • Line management and team development experience advantageous 
  • Global market experience – preferred
