About the Role

 

Reporting to the Manager of Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), the I&D Specialist will provide critical support in the management, development, and implementation of initiatives and programs around the Belonging @ WildBrain strategy. The successful candidate will collaborate across the Talent team and will play a key role in educating, guiding, and championing behaviors that support diversity, equity, inclusion and fostering a culture of belonging.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global I&D learning platform ensuring consistent maintenance of administrative components on platform ensures optimal reporting and completion of assigned material
  • Create and implement employee learning paths that highlight expected inclusive behaviors to drive engagement and help foster a culture of belonging at WildBrain.
  • Support the development of training tools/materials
  • Facilitate ongoing I&D training/sessions on inclusive hiring, onboarding, emerging I&D topics, and other talent practices as needed
  • Conduct industry/best practice research to identify opportunities and make recommendations to inform the development of I&D programs and preparing related materials, such a presentations, reports, and memos
  • Coordinate and execute on the global Inclusion calendar (i.e. events, speaker sessions etc.)
  • Provide ongoing support to I&D committees with events and initiatives under the guidance of I&D Manager
  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications team on I&D communications and coordinating/promoting I&D events and programming
  • Work in collaboration with Talent Development partners on aligning I&D learning programs within global learning priorities/strategies

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary course work in human resources, social science, or related field
  • Experience in inclusion, equity, and belonging work, with a focus on talent/HR practices
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in presentation development
  • Quality focused, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with an openness to listening and working collaboratively to achieve business results
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning and growth
