Main Purpose of Role:

Maximize sales of licensed products of the multiple brands by establishing efficient and effective partnerships with retail consistent with the brand strategy. Develop and grow WB CPLG’s awareness in the markets. The Brand Manager will also be responsible for the management of a portfolio of brands/ licensors.  Reporting into the Retail & Marketing Manager this role will also work closely with the CPLG Northern Europe team, and other CPLG offices, to develop regional retail initiatives. The position is based in our Amstelveen office.


Responsibilities Benelux Market:

  • Manage portfolio of brands/ licensors
  • Sell our brands (storytelling) at Benelux retailers and convince them of our licenses, product catalogues and marketing plans to drive revenue at retail.
  • Work closely with key licensees and sales to ensure strong retail distribution and secure cross-promotional retail activity.
  • Communication to licensees & retail (trade press, newsletters, internal brand updates, contact & funnel licensor info)
  • Market Insights (store checks, competitive analysis, catalogues)
  • Support sales with sales pitches, presentations & materials
  • Responsible for the execution at retail for the promotional activities.
  • Continuously strive to identify and expand retail partners that have not worked with WB CPLG.


Responsibilities Northern Europe region:

  • Manage portfolio of brands/ licensors
  • Build the best marketing plans and keep materials up-to-date for various brands for the Benelux, CEE and Nordic region.
  • Responsible for daily contact with licensors, report and consider all brand activities with the licensor.
  • Onboarding new rights internally for own portfolio of brands towards the team in BNX, Nordics and CEE
  • Events (Partner days WB CPLG, licensor partner days and trade shows)
  • Management of marketing / retail budgets and always keep track on ROI.
  • Support retail sales manager in Nordics and CEE where needed on all retail activation & brand activities


  • Proven experience within marketing or sales departments.
  • Creative design capabilities
  • Energetic team-player, multi-tasker, with an eye for detail.
  • Commercially driven.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of licensing/ entertainment is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
