WildBrain Studios is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Vancouver studio!

Responsibilities

 

  • Full-cycle recruitment of top-tier talent for our Vancouver animation Studio
  • Partner with Artist Management team, Human Resources and Production to develop ongoing improvement of Talent Acquisition strategies and action plans
  • Participate in the implementation of a new ATS system 
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and our immigration consultants for any required work permit applications that are required for new hires
  • Build and leverage industry relationships to build talent pipelines and referral networks
  • Source and cultivate long term relationships with candidates across a variety of disciplines and skillsets
  • Create, update and maintain all candidate activities/notes in applicant tracking system
  • Regularly communicate with hiring managers and all stakeholders on the search and candidate status updates
  • Advise and recommend interview techniques, candidate selection, compensation and market trends
  • Team up with Recruiting Management/Artist Management/Marketing team for ongoing community and Social Media initiatives driving attraction
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives that support our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Coordinate and participate in school engagement initiatives

Qualifications

 

  • Experience recruiting in high volume and creative industries
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to develop/foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to re-define and execute on new processes and workflows in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent time management with ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and a competitive job market with resilience 
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Passion for building relationships, building teams and finding great talent
  • Resourceful and creative, finding new ways to attract talent
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills
