The Role

 

WildBrain is looking for an Accounting Analyst (1-Year Contract) to join our Accounting System Migration team! This role will report to our Sr. Director of Revenue and Rights & Participation.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:  

  • Assist in an Accounting system migration project
  • Design test cases, perform testing and detect system deficiency / inadequacy
  • Analyze test results and document any bugs / issues found
  • Provide training and support for end users
  • Investigate and debug application issues escalated from users
  • Work in close liaison with Sr. Director of Revenue and Rights & Participation, system developers and project manager
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:  

  • 4+ years of Accounts Receivable and reconciliation experience with multiple currencies and international operations
  • Experience in accounting system migration projects desirable, but not required
  • University degree, preferably in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Merchandising transactions and operations preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
  • Detail oriented and able to perform well in a fast paced-environment
  • Proven ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience using Microsoft Great Plains or other accounting software desirable, but not required
  • Experience in entertainment / merchandising industry an asset, but not required
