The Role


WildBrain is looking for an experienced IT Administrator to join our IT team. Reporting to the Technology Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing computer and server support for our New York office. The position provides first, second and third level support and is responsible for ensuring the overall health of hardware and network systems.


What You’ll Do:

  • Acting as the key point of contact providing primary technical support for the IT Service Desk at our New York office.
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Supports and maintains user account information including onboarding/offboarding, rights, security, and system groups following IT policies and procedures.
  • Document and track all problems, requests and solutions using our centrally managed Ticketing System.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems with attention to detail and best in class customer service.
  • Adheres to hardware, software and other IT related best practices and standards.
  • Setup and configure users’ mobile devices and administer our IP based phone and voice mail systems.
  • Be willing to take on additional responsibilities and learning opportunities as they come up


What You’ll Bring:

  • University degree/College diploma in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a desktop support role
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and best practices
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • ITIL Foundation experiences and/or certification is an asset.
  • Experience in an entertainment related environment is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills - ability to communicate with all levels up to and including senior executives.
