The Role

 

Reporting into the VP North America and working closely with the EU Client Services Director and total CPLG HQ team based in London, you will lead the development of strategic licensing plans and maximize sales of licensed products by our licensees by conducting efficient and effective promotional plans at retail consistent with the brand strategy.

 

You will be responsible for managing our Americas business for WildBrain (Strawberry Shortcake, Teletubbies, Inspector Gadget, Caillou, Chip & Potato, etc), heading up day-to-day management ensuring a fluent internal process is realized, strategies are set and executed, and to maximize the commercial output; sales, retail and marketing.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:  

  • Ownership and accountability of your own portfolio of brands
  • Develop consumer products strategy, annual retail and marketing plans and activities in collaboration with the WildBrain Brands team
  • Responsible for day-to-day relationship management of licensor including performance reports, KPIs and understanding of all brand activities
  • Develops local consumer products communication strategy (Web & PR)
  • Responsible for portfolio consumer product marketing budgets, ensuring the maximum impact for minimal cost
  • Support development of joint and cross promotions between the licensees at both digital and physical retail channels
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with retailers, licensors, partners and licensees
  • Support sales in maintaining and broadening customer relationships in order to achieve sales targets.
  • Visits to fairs, exhibitions, conferences as needed.
  • Lead trend identification and reporting to licensees and licensors
  • Create quarterly market snapshots, identifying market gaps, innovation and growth opportunities for licensees and licensors
  • Continuously strive to identify and expand retail partners who have not worked with CPLG

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:  

  • Proven experience brand management, franchise and consumer product planning
  • An enthusiastic, independent, multi-tasker and calm under pressure
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills
  • Keen eye for detail, hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and additional languages preferred
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
