The Role

WildBrain is looking for an IT Project Manager to join our IT department! Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for project management, planning, forecasting and budgeting for assigned projects within Corporate IT. In addition, they are responsible for assisting with development and implementation of our Corporate IT project management policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide project management for assigned projects across the following areas:
• Implementation and rollout of SaaS solutions
• Software and applications development
• Business analytics and data management
• Web properties
• Miscellaneous Corporate IT projects, as required

• Project management duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Utilising the Corporate IT project management framework as it’s developed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive work-back schedules
  • Determine required resources and budget to successfully complete any given project
  • Work closely with the project team, including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure timelines are adhered to and to manage scope creep
  • Provide regular reporting and stakeholder communication
  • Attend internal and external client meetings to recommend solutions and mitigate risk and scope changes
  • Hold regular project team status meetings to ensure all project milestones are on track
  • Maintain all project documentation, in accordance with the department’s standard processes
  • Provide regular reporting to the Senior Project Manager

What You’ll Bring:

• 4-6 years of IT project management experience, media industry experience an asset
• Experience working on technology projects and large SaaS solution implementations
• Solid grasp of key business and technology disciplines including Strategy, Governance, Business Analysis, Project Management and QA, Dev Ops, SDLC and Agile methodologies
• PRINCE2 or PMP certification
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Adept at financial planning (forecasting, budgeting and budget control)
• Highly-organized and motivated with strong attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Good team player able to handle conflict in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with process improvements
• Proficient in Microsoft O365 products, Smartsheet and/or other project management tools
