Overview

WildBrain is looking for a Talent Coordinator to join their team. The Talent Coordinator will be responsible for Talent generalist and administrative support for the team in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Talent Partners and the Director, Talent Operations to process employee job changes and transfers; enter and track contract start/end dates; collect required data and enter information accurately into the HR system;
  • Work with the Talent and Payroll team to ensure employees have completed and submitted work hours and time-off requests, and have received manager approval, prior to payroll processing deadlines;
  • Track all WildBrain Studio employee changes via iCIMS New Hire, Transfers, Amendments, Secondary Assignments, and Termination requests, ensuring the correct paperwork is being processed and filed electronically accordingly;
  • Liaise with accounting to ensure the accuracy of HR data input for payroll; inform of changes required to earnings and/or deductions;
  • Assist Talent Business Partner with PAFs when required;
  • Assist employees with access to the HR system by resetting passwords, if required;
  • Collect and track employee proof-of-residency documents, working with the Finance team to ensure all are captured in UltiPro;
  • Provide administrative support in the upkeep of personnel files;
  • Participate in HR team initiatives and projects as required;
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Assistant or Administrator.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 Knowledge Skills & Abilities 

  • Solid experience with HRI system data entry;
  • Working knowledge and advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and database applications;
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while setting priorities and adapting to multiple demands;
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters and employee information;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff;
  • Experience with UltiPro as an HR information system;
  • Experience with time management systems;
  • Understanding of payroll processes;
  • Knowledge of animation or entertainment industry is an asset;

Education

 

  • Degree/Diploma in an accredited post-secondary institution or equivalent.
