Responsibilities

Our Toronto office is looking for a Programming Assistant to join our team in Toronto! This role will be the administrative lead supporing our Programming and Scheduling team.

  • Provide support to Programming & Acquisitions Manager
  • Screen content to ensure complaince with our Standards and Practices and with the Conditions of License of our channels
  • Assist with entering contract & programming data into Broadview scheduling System, as required
  • Work with Programming team to create and distribute weekly TVE schedules
  • Act as a liaison between Programming team, Traffic, Revenue Management, Production, Marketing, Publicity and Promotions
  • Maintain incoming Acquisitions tracker & liaise with Content Team
  • Confirm TV schedule in Infosys to ensure ratings accuracy & schedule cross-checks
  • Assist with the entry of series metadata
  • Manage asset management database
  • Assist with internal stakeholder meetings
  • Provide support across WildBrain's non-linear platforms
  • Create and maintain Programming documents, such as Priority Broadcast Calendar, Rights reports, Programming Expiry Reports
  • Assist with CRTC complaince tracking
  • Other duties as required

 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge and understanding of children's programming
  • Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize
  • Exceptional customer servicue and communication skills
  • Fluency in French is an asset
  • University or college studies in a related program in preferred
