Our team is looking for an experienced Brand Manager to join our New York office.

  • Lead, create and execute brand and marketing plans for key properties in the WildBrain portfolio
  • Work with Chief Brands Officer to define brand objectives, budgets and deliverables
  • Partner with other departments within WildBrain, including licensing, TV distribution, development, and production as well as (externally) licensees, broadcasters, PR agents and other external agencies to gain optimal exposure for the brands and to drive revenues.
  • With the Chief Brands Officer develop brand strategy plans for new, existing and pipeline intellectual properties (IPs).
  • Partner with marketing teams, and those of other strategic partners, to deliver marketing strategy, ensure alignment of activity and assets and maximize synergies of launch efforts
  • Collaborate with legal team to ensure IPs are cleared and trademarked, as required
  • Act as a Brand Champion, within WildBrain and at trade and consumer level
  • Effectively manage brand P&L and budgets
  • Develop clear and comprehensive brand decks, presentations and plans to communicate regularly news and updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create brand marketing collateral, including sizzles, sell sheets, POS, consumer advertising and digital assets
  • Monitor internal and external marketing activity, brand health and analyses of campaigns and other initiatives


  • 4-7 years brand management experience within children’s media, or consumer products
  • University degree, preferably in marketing, or commensurate experience
  • Experience with digital marketing, including content, social and community management
  • Experience with managing multiple projects, prioritizing diverse tasks and working to deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market landscape, competitor activity
  • Understanding of both traditional and digital retail landscape in North America, and internationally
  • Possess an ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment
  • Familiarity with the production process (animation and/or live action) preferred
  • Familiarity with licensee development timelines and sales cycles, especially toys preferred
