Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Traffic Coordinator will work with the Sales and Programming teams to execute broadcast advertising campaigns, ensuring commercials run as instructed by clients and agencies.  This is an 18 month maternity leave contract.

You will get to:

  • Entering sales contracts into the traffic system
  • Tracking commercial inventory and reporting weekly avails to the Sales team
  • Receiving commercials from various online delivery services and assign house numbers in the traffic system
  • Applying commercial copy according to the agencies' traffic instructions
  • Preparing daily logs and deliver finalized logs to Master Control
  • Emergency response: late bookings, contract revisions, last minute agency requests, technical issues etc.
  • Assist Sales Account Executives with various sales activities
  • Serving as backfill replacement to other roles in the department as required
  • Other duties as required
  • During busy sales periods this position may require extended hours

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with broadcast traffic software (Broadview preferred) in a TV environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize
  • Exceptional customer services and communication skills
  • Initiative and drive to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients in a confident, courteous and professional manner
  • Strong PC skills (MS office - excel, work, powerpoint and outlook)
  • University degree or diploma in a relevant field
