    WildBrain Studios is looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team! You may have known us as DHX Media – we’ve recently changed our name to reflect our renewed commitment to pushing the creative and focusing on the artist experience. At WildBrain we create epic entertainment experiences for kids and family through industry leading animation. Join us and see what other great things are happening at WildBrain!


    The Role:


    Imagine having the opportunity to be one of the most critical members of the recruitment team who supports our efforts to bring the best of the best into WildBrain. A role in which you will support our recruiters in full-cycle recruitment, fine-tuning and documenting our processes, and representing WildBrain at various events.


    You will get to…


    • Play a key role in the full-cycle recruitment process and support the Recruiters
    • Manage inquiries regarding hiring practices, open positions and employee referral opportunities
    • Schedule interviews and conduct reference checks
    • Coordinate the collection and review of candidate tests and portfolios
    • Post and refresh our roles on all niche boards, ensuring the published job descriptions follow brand guidelines, tone and format
    • Actively participate in and provide event coordination for recruitment related events e.g. career fairs, open houses and school tours


    Specific skills we'd love to see: 

    • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated ability to pivot on competing priorities and deliver objectives
    • Highly organized and dependable
    • Education and experience in HR/Recruitment is an asset
    • A strong ability to manage expectations
    • Demonstrated ability to be agile and adaptive to changing circumstances
    • A sense of curiosity and willingness to embrace operating in the grey and figuring things out
    • A proven ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, yet also to be focused and work independently
