    WildBrain Studios is looking for an experienced Producer to join our team!  You may have known us as DHX Media – we’ve recently changed our name to reflect our renewed commitment to pushing the creative and focusing on the artist experience. At WildBrain we create epic entertainment experiences for kids and family through industry leading animation.     The role:

     

    We’re seeking a Producer with extensive animation production experience and expertise to produce an upcoming animated series! This includes overseeing all aspects of production planning – from scripts, voice records, storyboards, animation and post-production through delivery to broadcasters. You must have strong knowledge of the animation production process to establish strategies for meeting key deliverables and milestones.

     

    We require an extremely well-organized, collaborative and passionate team-player to join our team in this role to ensure WildBrain’s world class reputation and production values are maintained.

    Responsibilities

    You will get to work on… 

    • Establishing and defining the production plan - including schedules, budgets and all deliverables in collaboration with the Director of Production to facilitate delivery on the creative vision of the series
    • Advising on budgets and monitoring financial reports
    • Evaluating scripts to assess and assign cost of creative production
    • Identifying and implementing the production resources necessary to support the project
    • Conducting meetings with team leads to assess day to day project requirements and ensure continued progress
    • Flagging potential problems and proactively designing and seeking solutions to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
    • Partnering with talent development to determine and advise on crew needs
    • Inspiring and maximizing communication amongst the creative team
    • Additional duties as requested

    • You have strong leadership skills, and the ability to work well with a diverse creative team 

    Specific skills we’d love to see…  

    • 5+ years of experience in Production Management for animated productions, including at least 3+ years of experience on animated projects
    • 2+ years of experience as Producer for animated productions
    • Thorough knowledge of 2D/3D animation and the production pipeline, including pre-production and post-production
    • Experience managing production budgets over $10M+
    • Experience dealing with high profile clients
    • Experience leading projects with crew sizes up to 70+ people
    • Experience working with overseas production facilities
    • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in a related field
