    WildBrain Studios is looking for an experienced Animation Marketing Designer to join our team!  You may have known us as DHX Media – we’ve recently changed our name to reflect our renewed commitment to pushing the creative and focusing on the artist experience. At WildBrain we create epic entertainment experiences for kids and family through industry leading animation.     The Role:

     

    Our Marketing team is seeking a multi-talented individual to help deliver high quality marketing material for new Peanuts content. If you have a mix of experience in graphic design and Harmony animation, you might be the unicorn we’re looking for. You will be working with a Marketing team as well as series directors and other stakeholders to produce striking and effective marketing graphics that maintain brand fidelity. This is a 12 month contract position with potential for extension.

    Responsibilities

    You will...

    • Deliver key character poses by extracting them from Harmony scenes and posing Harmony models
    • Create localized logos in multiple languages and alphabets that maintain the style and intent of the original English logo
    • Extract character animation sequences from episodes and convert to animated Gifs for marketing promotions
    • Perform colour correction on episodic stills
    • Export/create layered PSD files from Harmony for marketing stills and poster graphics
    • Resize & convert key graphics to different specs and resolutions
    • Convert Photoshop/PNG/Harmony assets to vector (EPS or AI)
    • Assist with additional marketing deliverables as needed

    Qualifications

    You will be a great fit on our team if you have...

    • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Illustrator especially)
    • Beginner to mid-level knowledge of Harmony, such as how to open a scene, how to isolate and export layers (e.g. character or background), how to do minor pose adjustments using a Harmony character model
    • Familiarity with Harmony rigs and hierarchy a major asset
    • ShotGun experience an asset
    • Ability to convert raster images to vector
    • Experience working with a large global brand an asset—able to quickly pick up on a brand’s style and guidelines, and work within brand rules that can be very strict even on the smallest details
    • Comfortability in taking feedback from many stakeholders
    • Experience generating marketing assets for animated television productions an asset
