    WildBrain Studios is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator - Outsource to join our team!  You may have known us as DHX Media – we’ve recently changed our name to reflect our renewed commitment to pushing the creative and focusing on the artist experience.     The role:


    We are looking for an adaptable team player who is incredibly organized, highly communicative, self-motivated and enthusiastic about joining a talented group of industry professionals working to create some of the best quality kids’ content in the business!



    You will get to work on...

    • You will be the conduit between all in house departments and their artists working outside the studio.
      • Ingesting and exporting work materials and assignments to and from Shotgun
      • Pulling pertinent notes and direction to go to all out of studio artists along with their assignments
      • Exchanging work materials and assignments with out of studio artists via file transfer folders (multiple times daily, and when called upon)
      • Communicating all in/out exchanges via email while looping in team leads, production, and the out of studio artists
      • Tracking all in/out exchanges to ensure materials end up coming in at the right status and going to the right person to review
    • Supporting the Production team to ensure each department stays on schedule and deadlines are met
    • Updating daily reports to reflect progress and/or flag concerns
    • Liaising with other departments to resolve any issues that may arise 
    • Assisting the crew in troubleshooting technical issues and liaising with I.T. to communicate problems

    Specific skills we’d love to see… 

    • Experience working with Shotgun is highly preferred
    • Previous experience coordinating in production/animation 
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with a strong ability to create and interpret reports
    • Ability to excel in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment
    • Animation Software experience, particularly in Flash or Harmony is a definite asset
